KOMON: A type of silk kimono with repeated decorations throughout. An elegant and understated pale yellow background highlights the vibrant plum and cherry blossoms and the arrangement of chrysanthemums (kiku), a symbol of longevity, nobility, and gratitude in Japan.
This komon is a unique piece, perfect for a unique and special occasion or an important gift.
The texture is medium-heavy, and the silk feels textured like chirimen fabric.
Overall condition: excellent inside and out. This kimono is a vintage piece, a used item.
