KOMON A type of silk kimono with all-over decoration. The traditional Japanese geometric pattern, called Seigaiha, symbolizes ocean waves. The design features overlapping concentric lines, creating an elegant, repetitive pattern in shades of dark gray.
This Komon is a unique piece, perfect for a unique and special occasion or a meaningful gift.
The texture is medium-heavy, and the silk feels textured like chirimen fabric.
General condition: good inside and out. As shown in the photo, the item has a yellowing stain (or halo) on the inner fold of the fabric, in the armpit area. This stain, given its location, is not visible when the kimono is worn. Used vintage item.
Measurements: Length 150 cm - Shoulders 60 cm - Sleeve length 32 cm - Sleeve width 40 cm.
