KOKESHI From the name Tsubaki beni 'Red Camellia', she wears the red kimono decorated with camellias and the matching obi belt with golden flower decorations, in Japan the camellia is the flower of joy, happiness and longevity. Made of fine wood, painted and carved by hand by traditional Japanese artisans, wooden plaque with stamp by the artist Masae Fujikawa.
