FURISODE Silk kimono with embroidered decoration in relief, part of the decoration is with a shibori motif, fabric with damask of flowers and wavy lines, you can see flowers of different types and colors with golden outlines. The kimono expresses its rich Japanese craftsmanship. Overall the green and ivory shade completes the beauty of the kimono.
This Furisode is a unique garment, for a unique and special occasion, an important gift or to embellish a wall.
In the Edo period, swinging wide sleeves was a means of showing sentiment, so Furisode is the style of kimono designed for unmarried women. Girls often wear the Furisode on formal occasions such as wedding, tea ceremony or coming of age ceremony. This type of kimono is made of high quality silks, it is worn for formal occasions.
Fabric soft to the touch with perception of the embroidered designs in relief.
Used vintage product.
General conditions: Exterior and interior are in excellent condition. See attached photos: there is a halo of 2cm in diameter on the frontal crease near the neck.
Measurements: Long 155 cm - Shoulders 65 cm - Sleeve length 33 cm - Sleeve width 100 cm.
