Bakeneko MASK is a traditional Japanese mask depicting a cat.
In Japanese culture, cat masks are used on various occasions, such as Matsuri festivals, theatrical performances, and traditional ceremonies. They are almost never worn on the face, but rather on the side of the head or hung from the belt (obi) of the yukata or kimono. This custom serves to give oneself
a festive and "supernatural" air.
In Japan, the cat is a symbol of good luck and protection. Wearing a cat mask is not only an aesthetic gesture, but also a reference to the legends of Bakeneko (magical cats) and a wish for prosperity.
